Notice of the Types of Data Collected

Pacific Data Partners receives data from third party consumer marketing companies and data compilers. This data contains Personally Identifiable Information (“PII”) and Attributes. PII includes information such as name, postal address, email address and phone number. Attributes include demographic and behavioral information, such as information about your past purchases. The data that is provided to Pacific Data Partners may include information that was collected from online and offline sources. Pacific Data Partners does not collect or use sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, credit card numbers, health information, or banking information.

Pacific Data Partners may collect PII (e.g., name, address, email) about you when you provide this information to us through this website. We may use this information to respond to your requests or inquiries. Pacific Data Partners may also collect non–PII (e.g., pages viewed, browser type, time and date of visits) from visitors to this website. We may use this data to operate our website, improve visitors’ experience to the website, to identify or remediate possible threats to the website’s security, and for other operational and management purposes.

How Data Is Used

Pacific Data Partners operates a data marketplace that aggregates offline and online data from third party data providers. Such data may be collected from offline sources like customer lists, public records, website membership lists, or other information. Other data may be collected from online sources based on your activities on your computer, tablet, phone or other digital device. This online and offline data is then provided to our clients and used for various purposes including sales, marketing and analytics by creating audiences that are grouped together based on shared interests, preferences (e.g. outdoor sports) or professional attributes (e.g. job title, function, and company). Data used to create online audiences is de-identified, helping ensure that the ad server’s cookies (see below for more information on cookies) do not contain any PII.

Interest Segments & Access

We create consumer and business segments (e.g. outdoor sports enthusiast, executive working in IT) to help our clients and partners tailor their advertising so that relevant content and advertisements are displayed. (please clearly identify that your request is a “Pacific Data Partners Segment Request”). Upon receipt of your request, we will follow up with you to request more information. A copy of a state issued photo ID or passport or other valid form of identification may be required to complete your request. Please allow up to 30 days for a response to your request.

Specific Uses of Data by Clients

Pacific Data Partners provides data to its clients, who may use such data to provide the following types of services:

  • Targeting of direct mail campaigns;
  • Targeting and optimizing digital (online and mobile) advertising campaigns and websites;
  • Internal operations, research analysis, and product development;
  • Data cleansing and appends in sales technologies such as CRM systems and lead scoring solutions; and Analytics in proprietary analytics and data science platforms.

Disclosures to Third Parties and Onward Transfer

Pacific Data Partners may share data as described below:

  • Clients. Pacific Data Partners’ clients will receive data, including PII, to execute marketing campaigns described in “Specific Uses of Data by Clients.” The clients may share data, including PII, with agents and service providers who work on their behalf to provide some aspects of their services including, for analytical purposes, to measure current campaigns or to inform future campaigns.
  • Service Providers. Pacific Data Partners may share data, including PII, with service providers who provide certain functions for us, such as email marketing, payment processing or other purposes. These service providers do not have an independent right to use or share such information
  • Corporate transfers. If we are involved in the sale or purchase of business assets, we may share your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer for the purposes of that (prospective) sale/purchase;
  • Protection of Pacific Data Partners or as required by law. Pacific Data Partners may disclose data if we believe that such disclosure is necessary to (a) comply with relevant laws or legal obligations imposed on us, including to respond to requests from public and government authorities outside your country of residence for national security and/or law enforcement purposes; or (b) to protect or otherwise defend the rights, property, or safety of Pacific Data Partners or any third party.


To opt out of Pacific Data Partners digital online advertising please send an email to and include your full name and email address which we will only use to process your opt out request. If you elect to opt out, we will set a flag that indicates that you have opted out that will prevent your data from being included in any future digital advertising datasets. If you opt out from cookie-based digital advertising, a browser may still receive ads online from parties who have purchased other datasets or use other services. As with all cookie-based advertising, if you delete cookies, install a new browser, or buy a new computer, you will need to opt out again.

Health Related Segments

Pacific Data Partners does not create syndicated health data segments as part of our services.


Pacific Data Partners does not knowingly collect any information from or provide services for advertising targeted to children under the age of 13.


Pacific Data Partners takes steps to help ensure that our data is housed and transmitted securely. We use multiple layers of security, combining strictly controlled access, and other security measures to help guard against unauthorized use of data.

Data Integrity

Pacific Data Partners preserves data in its original form to the extent possible, consistent with any processing that is directed by clients or necessary to fulfill the services requested by clients.

Under California law, organizations are required to provide residents of the State of California access to a privacy policy that gives consumers a choice in the use of certain personal information by third parties for marketing purposes.
